Our Program

Our program was started in 1998 as a ministry of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church to serve working parents and their children of Campus School. We have used this experience to create an after school program that tends to the intellectual, social, emotional, moral, and physical needs of your child. Our program is comprised solely of Campus School and University Middle students, creating a unique sense of community for our families.

We are open 3:00-6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday during the school year and provide transportation from Campus School (their 4pm extracurricular activities) and University Middle.

Children in our care receive:
  • An afternoon snack
  • Homework assistance from teachers
  • Ample recreation time
  • Free play time to socialize
  • The option of participating in organized games and activities

What We Offer

Easy Transportation
With less than a mile between St. Luke’s Challengers and Campus School/University Middle, transportation is a breeze. We even pick your child up from 4 pm extracurricular activities at Campus School for a small fee – a service no other after school program offers.

Extra Activities
Be the first to receive exclusive offers for special programming such as the Back to School Bash, Boo Out, etc. at St. Luke’s and Parent’s Night Out events.

Team Sports
In addition to daily recreation, St. Luke’s Christian Life Center offers sports opportunities for children interested in basketball and soccer.

Camps during School Breaks
We provide dynamic camps that keep your child entertained and engaged over fall, Thanksgiving, spring, and summer breaks (winter break may also be available). During that time, we are open all day from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you chose not to take advantage of our camps, you will not be charged for these weeks.
