Children’s Music

Cherubs - Ages 3 and 4
Our preschoolers learn songs in a play and praise atmosphere. They also participate in group rhythm activities and games and periodically sing for Sunday morning services and special children’s music events.

Rehearsals: September through May, Wednesday, 6:30-7:20 p.m.

Music Ministry - Cherubs

Jubilate - Age 5 through first grade
This beginning choir sings periodically for Sunday worship and special children’s music programs. In addition to developing their concept of pitch and tone production these children also learn the basics of handbell ringing and tempo through the Kristal Bell Method.

Jubilate

Choristers - Grade 2-5
Directed by Marcy Mittelstadt, this choir often sings in 2 and 3 part music and shares in worship services about once per month. Choristers begin to “read music” as they learn their anthems for the services and special choir programs.

Youth Choir

Grades 6-12

Contemporary to traditional, gospel to global - the youth choir explores a diverse genre of music. This ensemble participates in services monthly bringing energy and passion to their expression of worship.

Rehearsals: September through May. Sunday 4:00 – 5:00. Choir Room


Adult Music

Chancel Choir – Open to high school age and older, this choral ensemble sings each Sunday at the 10:50 service and at special seasonal services throughout the year. Dr. Marcy Mittelstadt is director.

Rehearsals: August through June, Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.

Wesley Bells – This adult handbell ensemble (3 to 4 octave) plays for worship and special services. In addition they participate in a yearly ecumenical handbell festival.

Rehearsals: September through May, Sundays, 6:30 p.m.
