The Epistle for Jan. 22, 2008, is now available. From Pastor Mark’s Epistle:

Dear Friends,

Please join in prayer now as a team of representatives, five each from Galloway and St. Luke’s UMC’s plus the two pastors, begin meeting about a possible merger in June 2008. The first session of this new group will be at Galloway, 1015 S. Cooper on Sunday evening the 27th, 5:30 p.m. Our St. Luke’s representatives are Katie Kaler, Elsie Schoof, Mark Wofford, Larry Kaler and our Trustees Chair (to be elected January 22).

ALSO, a special prayer team is being formed, led by Dr. Ernie Sigman. All are welcome to join, and its first meeting will also be Sunday, January 27, at 4:30 p.m. in the Parlor. Regardless of whether you can attend, please be in prayer that God’s will in this matter will be revealed, as we keep the vision of being Christ’s heart, mind and hands, here and now!
